Nikola Tesla was a Croatian-born Serbian-American inventor, electrical and mechanical engineer, futurist, and one of the founding members of Plus Ultra and Tomorrowland, along with Thomas Edison, Jules Verne, and Gustave Eiffel. He is best known for his contributions to the design of the modern alternating current (AC) electricity supply system, and the invention the self-titled Tesla Coil.
He was also known for his ongoing rivalry with fellow Plus Ultra founder Thomas Edison, particularly over direct current (DC) and alternating current. Despite the rivalry, when it came to Plus Ultra and Tomorrowland, they were able to overcome rivalries and differences and work together to create a better future.
